Plant-based burger patties

Ingredients
- 400g plant based mince
- 1 cup breadcrumbs*
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 5-6 button mushrooms, finely chopped
- 3-4 sundried tomatoes, finely chopped
- 140g apple puree*
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients in a large bowl and combine with your hands.
- Divide into as many patties or burgers as you like.
- Cook on an oiled frypan until brown on both sides and warmed throughout.
Notes
• Check breadcrumbs ingredients. You’d be surprised by what you find in breadcrumbs and you’ll ask yourself “Why?”
• 140g apple puree are those small snack packs for kids
• I make mine in the morning & keep in the fridge until ready for cooking to help the flavours seep through the patties
