Quinoa milk

Ingredients
- 1 cup of rolled quinoa
- 3 cups water
- 1.5 – 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Soak your quinoa for at least 30 minutes (overnight is fine)
- Drain quinoa and rinse well
- Place quinoa in blender with water
- Blend on low for 20 seconds and on high for 10 seconds
- Place a fine sieve over a large bowl/jug and pour contents through. Use a spoon to move the pulp around to ensure all liquid makes it into the jug
- Clean out sieve and blender, place sieve over the top of blender and pour contents back in
- Add maple syrup, vanilla essence, salt and cinnamon, and blend to combine
- Pour into a clean bottle and keep in fridge for 4-5 days
