Vegan baked cinnamon donuts

Ingredients
- ½ cup margarine
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple puree
- 1 ½ cups plain flour
- 2 ¼ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ cup soy milk
- Extra sugar & cinnamon to dust (about ½ cup sugar + ¼ teaspoon cinnamon)
- Extra margarine for rolling (about ¼ - ½ cup)
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 180oC
- With electric beaters combine the margarine, sugar & apple puree
- Then add flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg & soymilk
- Grease donut tray & ⅔ fill with batter
- Bake for 15 minutes (in batches)
- Carefully remove donuts from tray whilst still warm, roll them in melted margarine & then into sugar & cinnamon mix. Eat warm or cooled.
